ShearWorx is one of the largest operators of mobile shears in the United States, using shears ranging in size from Genesis 445 to 2055. Our equipment-first focus allows us to operate efficiently and safely in some of the most challenging environments—from blazing hot summers in Miami to frigid winters in Niagara Falls.
By utilizing leading-edge torching technologies including non-standard gasses, track torches, automated torches, specialized tips, and various hand-held torches, ShearWorx can process even the heaviest scrap.
Scrap Processing
To provide excellent and efficient service, scrap processing must be properly supported. It requires proper handling of both unprepared and prepared scrap. To achieve maximum efficiency, ShearWorx owns and operates tracked and wheeled material handlers, from easily mobilized to steel mill-appropriate sized equipment.

ShearWorx provides on-site hauling services in support of its customer’s prepared and unprepared scrap processing needs. We own and operate a fleet of articulating dump trucks and terminal tractors and trailers and our services range from hauling unprepared home scrap from steel mills to moving prepared scrap to lines.
